The Sharks are enemies found in Tomb Raider II, The Golden Mask, The Last Revelation and Tomb Raider Underworld.

They will only be a danger to Lara, when in the water. You should try to get out of the water and shoot them from outside. If you cannot escape them, you should try using the Harpoon Gun against them. Their attacks are very dangerous and take big chunks out of Lara's health.

Occurrence

The first time Lara encounters sharks on her adventures is when exploring the outside of the sunken Maria Doria.

The sharks encountered in The Last Revelation are actually Hammerheads.
  • Tomb Raider Underworld
In Tomb Raider Underworld the sharks appear in the Mediterranean Sea, in Thailand and in the Arctic Sea. Lara can use her Pistols - which also work under water in Underworld - a Spear Gun or in the Arctic Thor's Hammer to kill them.
The sharks in the Mediterranean and Thailand are sated and leave Lara alone most of the time. They will completely ignore her when she's swimming on the surface. They are however be attracted by the Fast Swim style.
The sharks in the Arctic seem to have undergone a change, weather it's due to the different climate or the influence of Helheim is not known. They are much more aggressive.
