Tomb Raider III The Lost Artifact The Last Revelation

The Lost Artifact (sometimes in British English: The Lost Artefact) is the title of Tomb Raider III Gold, a part of the Director's Cut.

Lara Croft returns in her most daring adventure to date - Tomb Raider III. In a search to find four mysterious artefacts fashioned from the heart of an ancient meteorite. From the Jungles of India to the depths of the mysterious Area 51, Lara has new weapons, vehicles and moves to outwit her foes.

The Lost Artefact includes 6 brand new levels that provide a continuation of Lara's adventures in Tomb Raider III. After receiving a strange invitation to a Scottish estate, Lara now learns of the existence of a fifth artefact, the Hand of Rathmore. Lost for many years, this final piece will complete the set. A hazardous trail riddled with traps and enemies takes her from a Scottish castle's subterranean laboratory to the Paris Catacombs. Be ready for anything and prepare to be amazed!

Lara looks on silently, obvious to the press of the bitter Antarctic wind. Suddenly a ragged figure emerges from the dark, gaping the hole of the meteor cavern - it is Willard, a human reborn, but inthe throes of death. A hand gestures wildly, a final gutteral laugh tears through the silence, the figure slumps forward and is still.

With the snow already forming a ghastly shroud over the body, Lara quickly tears an object from the dead man's grasp. A wallet, its monogrammed 'w' now standing sadly against Willard's last earthly remains. Inside, the usual collection of tattered mementoes, a hodge-podge pf foreign currency and... but this cannot be! A familiar expression glides across Lara's face - an eyebrow raised by a wry and knowing smile. Before her, a telegram urging an immediate return to take possession of another artefact now secure beneath the Scottish mist at Willards Loch Ness Estate.

"The adveture continues," says Lara, to nothing but Willard's dark laughter still ringing in her ears. "So there was fifth..."
